Interim Association's employees and members (collectively referred to as Associates) commit to the following principles, which reflect fundamental values of the profession and our association.

Professionalism
Associates will conduct business activities with integrity and avoid conduct that is deceptive or misleading; striving to be accurate in all communications with clients and others.

Competence
Associates will deliver all interim management assignments competently, and with the appropriate degree of knowledge, thoroughness and timeliness.

Conflicts of Interest
Associates will avoid, or resolve through disclosure and waiver, conflicts of interest.

Confidentially
Associates will fully respect confidential information and abide by the confidentially agreements entrusted to each other.

Terms of Business
Associates agree to comply with all employment tax, insurance and labor laws. Terms of business should be clearly stated, avoiding ambiguity by clarifying the scope of work, responsibilities, measurements, and time period for the assignment.

Equal Opportunity
Associates agree to uphold equal opportunity laws in principle and in spirit at all times. Discriminatory practices are grounds for deactivation of membership.

Public Interest
Associates will conduct their activities will respect for the public interest and local laws and customs; engage in free and fair competition; and agree not to engage in unlawful restraints of trade.
